The Kay SL offers all the advantages of the Birkenstock classics Tokyo and Boston, combined in one model. The upper instep strap can be folded back when needed, providing a heel strap for added support.
The super outsole is non-slip, rolls perfectly and is also oil- and grease-resistant. In the leather version, the EVA midsole has an additional soft cushioning.

Abrasion-resistant outsole made of elastic and durable ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) synthetic material.
The super-soles consist of two components: a highly shock-absorbing EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) midsole and a slip-resistant rubber outsole tested to EN ISO 13287: 2012. The outsole is also oil and grease resistant.
