We dont all live by a chairlift. Some of us need to earn our turns. Unfortunately, shoes that are good for going up suck for going down and vice-versa. This is an All-Mountain shoe that climbs well, descends well, hikes well and looks terrible with spandex. One of the objectives was to make a shoe that interfaces perfectly with pedals and requires no shims or files for modification. A perfect fit right out of the box. PedalLink clipless outsole featuring Spider 365 rubber compound with inverted lugs for grip in loose terrain. Composite midsole plate allows for pedaling efficiency with excellent walkability. EVA midsole provides cushioning and comfort. Aluminum cleat shield for durability. Teva K. A. S. S. Cleat Attachment System (works only with Shimano and Crankbrothers cleats). Type 314 Stainless Steel hardware for corrosion resistance. Tongue Port for cleat adjustment while connected to the pedal (works only with Shimano and Crankbrothers cleats).
