  This dress is a WOW. I usually wear UK 18, and bought XXL , initially being afraid it might be too big but it fits perfectly, as if it was made for my figure. It’s right at the knee, the sleeves lay gorgeously and the royal blue is popping. This company did well with creating this dress for oversized ladies who want to look great at work or even outside work. I had to iron it quite a long time though but it was worth it. I only had wash this dress because I don’t want anything to destroy it.Only received compliments with this dress and now buying different colours.

  Fabric is a good weight, well made, top stitching round neck makes it sit well. A nice touch is the stitch at crossover which prevents gaping. It was not possible to get a satisfactory answer about sizing but the XL is roughly 14/16 UK

  Perfect for work or a special occasion

  What a fabulous dress! The material is slightly heavier than most dresses I've purchased via Amazon (different brand) but the fit and style are excellent. I bought the navy in medium (I'm a size 10-12) and the fit is great. A little baggy over the hips, but that's my fault for having very small hips in proportion to my waist!The dress has a side zip but the material is very stretchy so I found the zip superfluous, I just popped it on over my head. The pockets are a huge bonus - I love pockets! The material hangs beautifully and looks very smart and professional. The shoulders/sleeves are a little bit puffier than it looked in the picture, but this isn't a bad thing. The top lies very nicely against my chest, and is suitable for work as it's not at all revealing, quite demure in fact!Update January 2020I just bought my 4th dress! This time in black and I have to say it's even better than the other three ads the material it's softer. I love these dresses and wear them to work all the time

  I love this dress. That is a statement I never thought I'd make. It has pockets. Lovely deep, useful pockets. Need I say more? Well, yes.I don't have a body type that suits a dress, so I hardly wear them. I bought this on the off chance - free returns - and the good reviews. Pretty decent price, too, so I wasn't expecting much. And was beyond pleasantly surprised. I was astonished.It's quite a heavy fabric - more autumn/spring than summer. It has a nice stretch to it for ease of movement, but not too much. It has a hidden zip to the side, so that gives an idea that it isn't mega stretchy. The fabric has just the right amount of weight/structure to it so I'm confident my less than perfect bits stay hidden, and it looks tailored and stays so during the day.The design is lovely, with just enough detail to make it interesting. The length is perfect for me, and with the little bit of stretch, means that it is slightly sexy movement, in an understated way.I wear this for special occasions at work. I'd normally wear a jacket over the top, but with this dress, I'm confident enough to go without, meaning I can wear it all day at work, and not just for interviews.occasionsI love it so kuchen, I bought another in red, and a long-sleeved version in green. I think these are going to become work wardrobe staples.

  I need a smart appropriate dress to wear for a funeral, and this dress was perfect. I read all the reviews beforehand, and as a lot of people seem happy with their purchase, I decided to take a chance and order it...I am so glad I did! the dress is a little heavy, but this is good because the material is good quality. although the material is quite stretchy it fits nice on the body(unlike some I tried on and showed up every single lump and bump! the dress gives a good shape to your body too which is always a bonus! I am a size 14, and so I decided to go for the Large...its fits perfectly! If you need a formal dress, e.g. a business meeting, a dress for the office or like myself, for a funeral, then you cant go far wrong with this dress. I would highly recommend it.

  Ladies black dress

  Lovely fitting dress, hangs nicely. I am normally between a size 10/12 but find a 10 too tight on the hips, but a 12 to loose in the top. This is one of the first dresses I have found that is a snug fit around the bust and waist, but just gives you that little extra room in the skirt without feeling restricted and doesn't flatten your bottom. Very good price.

  Amazing quality and dress at such a prize! Looks really expensive when worn.. I have another dress from this brand and m impressed by the fitting and length of the dress. I ordered medium and it fits me as if tailored! Definitely will buy more dresses from them!

  Flattering professional dress

  Wow! What a flattering dress- I got a lot of compliments wearing this. The cut of the dress fits the body really well to flatter your shape, especially the under bust/waist area. It really made me look professional and put together while also looking pretty and feeling comfortable. The material is a nice thick “bodycon” type fabric which gives a slight slimming effect without being pinchy or grabby. I had to go away for work and this was the dress I chose to wear for my 6 hour train ride after my meeting because I knew it would look really professional at work but also be comfortable for the journey.It did bobble a little in the wash, so I worry about the long term lastability, but for now at least I’m very happy with the dress

  Bobbles like a mofo but I have it in 5 colours now!

  I’ve had loads of compliments from guys and girls at work. I bought tons of colours the ONLY downside is that the material after just a wash or two goes bobbly (could be friction from seatbelts) but I have an debobbler so it’s ok. Just a pre warning.I’m a 10 on top 12-14 on bottom and a medium fits me like a glove.Update in June 2021 - the amount this dress generates bobbles my debobbler can’t keep up with. I’ve never known a dress so bad for it. I wonder if it’ll end up threadbare in less than 6 months. I only do a wash once a week and this dress isn’t always in it.

  Simply cannot believe this dress. Brought for a corporate event for the colour more than anything. Slight negative out of the way, arrived, folded in a plastic sheath, looking pretty creased, ironed well however, under an ironing cloth. I also bought the Hobbs Kali dress for £139, there is simply no comparison, the Hobbs dress is going back for a refund, this dress fitted perfectly, was ideal for a professional event and I received countless compliments on it. Two female colleagues on hearing about the Hobbs dress are convinced this dress was over £200 as I wouldn’t tell them the price, they assumed because I did not wear the more expensive dress that this item was dearer. For a one off event (in my curcumstances) it could not have been better. Delighted, would definitely recommend.
