• Is there a difference between the mens and womens versions?
  I have found that the size that I take in ladies shoes: i.e. Size 6 is perfect in the Kahuna sandal men's or ladies.I find them extremely comfortable.

• I have narrow feet with a high instep , would these be suitable for me
  You can adjust all of the straps. I have wide feet so I've found them very comfortable indeed.

• Is the sole flat inside or shaped to provide support? I have a very old pair of merrels and cant find anything like them now! Thank you
  Yes they are shaped and I would recommend them except, for me, my right foot is rather swollen near the ankle and the ankle strap was too short to fasten across my foot. The straps are rather small so you would need a slim foot

• What is the sole made of - I have very hot feet and if the sole under my feet is rubber will they be slippery?
  I wear Merrells all the time and this particular style is very comfortable even in extreme heat. I have never found them to be slippery
