- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 June 2021Very comfortable and lightweight for summerI ordered these sandals in desperation after a foot injury, when the only comfortable footwear I owned were three really old worn out pairs of Merrell sandals and a pair of slippers. I hadn't bought this style before as I usually go for something with two sets of adjustable straps, but I took a chance and for me, with feet on the wider side, the toe straps are just right. I am usually a size 5.5 to 6, so ordered the 6 as usual and these fit perfectly. As usual, Merrell sandals have just the right amount of support in them so walking with my injured foot has been far more bearable. Nice sandals for general walking and I would happily buy another pair.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 April 2019Best sandals for fit and comfortI bought this style of sandals for the first time last year and never had them off my feet , they are extremely comfortable from the word go no bedding is needed , they are as comfortable as wearing slippers So rate these as 10/10 in fact after I sent for this pair I realised I should have bought two pair as they are cheaper than the shops so ordered a second pair .

It’s like walking on air they are so lightweight and comfortable. I love them so much I bought another pair in a different colour. They look so good there’s no need for any other shoes. Highly recommended ??????

Feels like I’m out wearing my slippers! Size perfect as well. I did wonder if the straps on the front might make my little toe poke out but it’s just in the right place so it doesn’t!

I am a standard size 6 but usually get a 5 to 5.5 in a sandal but after reading the reviews I went for size 6 & they are a perfect fit….. they have good support & there is no need to ‘wear them in’ ….. I frequently suffer from blisters when wearing sandals but not with these….. they are amazing …..they look great & are not ‘clumpy’ like a lot of walking sandals…… highly recommended !!

Ordered these ones in 6 and they fit perfectly. They're instantly super comfortable and just mould around my feet. The sole is soft, but not too soft on the inside and grippy and stable on the outside. I wouldn't hesitate wearing them on easy day walks in the outdoors.Due to the fact, that they don't look like your box standard trekking sandals I can easily wear them in the office. 100% happy with them.

Whilst all shoes are dependent on your own feet, these have not rubbed at all over a couple of days walking around. For a pair of trekking sandals, they are elegant. Not for water as there is a suede inner, but good for general hiking.

The Velcro fastening is exactly the same width as the ankle strap, meaning that the velcro scratches the foot at every step. I do t know how anyone has found these wearable. Disappointing as they were otherwise a nice sandal and a good fit.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 October 2018Very comfortable well worth the moneyI bought these for when I’m in Kenya on a Safari so will entail a lot of walking, they are ever so comfortable they go with everything I wear to look at you wouldn’t think they are a walking sandalsI read that these come up small so I bought the next size up they fit me just right for some it might not be the right thing to do . I have wide feet so they fit lovely across with no cutting into me but they are a little bigger on me with the length but I can get away with it as they ain’t flopping on me . Well worth the money

- Do they actually have leather in them? The descriptions suggests it has Nubuck Leather but then in details it says synthetic...They are Nubuck leather but the thin decorative stuff over the top is like nylon, they are very comfortable to wear the none of the straps rub anywhere, I can wear them from the word go , no bedding in .
- Can i go in water with these - or will it ruin the upper?I wouldn’t go into the water on purpose because the upper and the insole is like a suede and I think that it would ruin them. However, I did get mine wet by mistake once, with the rain, and they were okay when thoroughly dried out. There are other sandals in the range if you actually want them for going in the water. - Are the red (redwood) sandals the ones they call dark peach on other sites?I have no idea on this one.
- I’m usually a 5.5. Would I be best getting a 5 or a 6?Personally I would go for a 6 - have you measured your foot by doing the piece of paper on the floor, foot up against the wall, line across where big toe is - I found that a really useful measure!
