  Useful addition to collection

  Initially, sandals felt really dense underfoot. Could feel the ridges in the rather firm foot-bed and feared these and the straps around ankles would cause friction over time. Was pleasantly surprised to return from a 100 minute country walk quite early on and before properly breaking them in, without a single blister. In fact, these are fast becoming my 'heavy duty' sandals. A size 5 does feel a trifle wide and large, (am 4.5 - 5) but better than having feet spilling out. Further, having flat feet, I like it that the foot is well-supported. It's always good to alternate shoes, but these are definitely a useful addition to my collection.

  Sizing completely inconsistent

  i already own this sandal in the leather version in a size 5 so expected the blue version to be sized the same. Big mistake.!This blue sandal is over a cm plus shorter and narrower in length. it means my toes are crowded and also hanging over the footbed. Why on earth no consistency with the sizing of the same sandal ?Had to return

  Too small & soles very hard/uncomfortable.

  Not a patch on comfort compared to my other Teva sandals. There seems to be a ridge running across the arch of the foot. Don't know if this is supposed to be supportive but I found it just dug in & caused cramp in my foot.Also, very small on size, feet were right to the edge so offers no protection on stubbing the toes.Very disappointed, really wanted to like these!!

  Comfortable and reasonably smart

  Finding comfortable sandals which are smart enough to wear in town and with a dress isn't easy but these fit the bill reasonably. The footbed is unexpected in its material but I have worn them and it doesn't generate friction heat against the foot and daylong wear and walking brought no rubs anywhere. And I was comfortable. I particularly appreciate no narrow straps across the broad part of the foot- the two adjustments there are excellent for comfort. Size as you expect. Recommended for anyone who can't survive with narrow straps and soles with no instep or ball comfort.

  Break them in first

  I am a small size 4 (use insoles) or a 3 and a half, so not much room to spare as shown in pic. These are a size 4. I went for a 17,000 steps walk and my skin was broken so break them in before a holiday. Took a few walks until they were comfy, they are great now.

  Quality control

  This is the 2nd time I ordered the same colour sandal. First pair in leather has poor quality control on workmanship. The Velcro wasn’t long enough to tighten over one of my feet and hence sticking out, vulnerable to catch anything. I returned it promptly.This pair from a different seller was much better. I am totally happy with it. I would advise that with the right size your arches would site nicely on the mount, leaving just enough space at both ends of your feet.I’m not sure you can go walking whole day in these but I love the design and the arch support, not too high, is just right for me.

  Small fit but also great!

  After reading reviews saying these were a very small fit I decided to take a chance and order these in a size 3 for my 11 year old who is roughly a size 34/35 but can't fit into any of my adult size 35 sandals as they are too roomy and her feet slide out of them even if they're fine length wise. My feet are a size 36 and I fit into a size 4 (snugly) in this style. The adjustable straps on the ankles and foot are fab for a customised fit. She's worn them for a whole day out - walking, playing in a playground, running and there were no blisters or red marks on her feet. Fantastic sandals but watch out for the sizing - I would order a size up from your usual. Uploading a photo of my daughter's feet wearing these sandals.

  Too small!

  As previous reviewers have said these come up small. I always take a UK size 4 so that was what I ordered. These were more like a UK size 3. It’s a shame because they are nice sandals with a very comfortable and supportive footbed. I did also notice that the front ankle strap seemed to sit in rather an odd place, which could prove irritating on a long walk.

  Great summer walking sandal !

  These are brilliant excellent fit and comfortable and great for uneven terrainI walk my dog on coastal beaches and cliff paths and when it’s hot in the summer these are great instead of boots and trainers .They grip well and cope with getting wet in showers or the sea -a quick rinse afterwards and they dry out fairly quickly -I’ve used them on boats as well as you feel confident you won’t slip and no problem if you’re feet get wet in themVery pleased with their performance would recommend

  Shoddy ill fit - returned.

  I had a pair of size 6 of these exact sandals which have served me brilliantly and probably exceeded 3,000 walking miles. They finally broke after 3 years of daily use on rough terrain and regularly in sea water,I could not fault them. Therefore I ordered these exact same sandals as a replacement.When delivered these were an absolute disappointment. The foot bed was smaller, probably a 5, however it would have just about been ok....but the heel straps were far too low and in a wrong angle. The straps on the left sandal were just about ok....but the ones on the right would barely reach together let alone fasten.Compared to my previous sandals these were very obviously faulty.....had they been my first pair I would have thought they were just a very shoddily made sandal for an extortionate price.I have not re-ordered as I am unsure if this was a faulty ‘one off’ or if they have changed the fit and I needed a 7, but Still the straps would have been an issue.
