Nice comfy sandals for narrower feet
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 April 2021
Lovely sandals. Really well made (says in Cambodia) Soft tan newbuck suede with a contoured footbed and rubber sole. The footbed is not as accentuated like Birkenstocks which I find uncomfortable to wear with my seriously flat feet. I usually wear shoe size 6 and a half and I have fairly narrow C width feet. That would be a 39.5. And in Birkenstocks I would need this size in slim fit. I've ordered these Malibu sandals size 7, a 40 and they are perfect for me as my photos show. However I would say that they are not suitable for people with wide feet and people with a high instep will have trouble in fitting into them. Neither would they be comfortable for people with bunions since the crossover at the toe end is narrow and would bind on the big toe joint. These are really tourist sandals and ideal for about town wear, they are not rugged enough for all terrain wear. They would look good with skirts and trousers. I do find the buckle fiddly to do up, particularly on the left foot. I would prefer a velcro fastening for ease. I'm tempted to just pull the sandals on since there is elastic in the strap. At £51 it's at the top end of what I'd pay for sandals, I wanted the olive green colourway but was not prepared to pay the extra money. I looked at Ecco, Merrell and Earth Spirit but declined them on grounds of either cost or sizing but will buy some more rugged trecking sandals for walking. Really pleased with these though. If you are a half size you certainly need to round up and that might be good advice to buy the next size up in any case.

    Very spacious, straps too long!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 May 2021
I have normal instep feet with narrow heels and a wide front. Big old toe spaces. Like a duck with no webbing. These are too spacious and the straps are far too loose! This strongly contradicts the other reviews. I will have to make more holes if I decide to keep.Appearance wise- they look ok. They won’t go with a dress but fine for shorts and trousers. The line through the sole spoils the look. I think they may be the shoes I use to get to work and then change into something less casual looking.Love the thick bendy base, very Timberland. I’m definitely a convert to Tim’s sandals, I have two other pairs of heeled ones.I wear a size 6 and went for a 6.5. The length and width are good. Just too much space inside these straps. Summer swelling may help. Bring on the inflammation and water retention so I can wear these badboys.

Straps could do with being looser
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 September 2020
Lovely quality but straps are quite tight across the feet. I don’t have wide feet and I didn’t find the footbed too narrow. The material is very soft leather and it does not rub but I got blisters under my feet due to straps being very tight. I’m hoping they will loosen over time.

    NOT A SIZE 7
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 July 2019
I have bought several pairs of shoes on Amazon and I am definitely a size 7, however these are definitely not. I see there is a size 7.5 however they are 20 pounds more expensive. They are lovely shoes but unfortunately they are not a true fit and I have been left feeling decidedly ripped off. If you live in a hot country and your feet expand then they would be unbearable I imagine. I live in Ireland and am feeling the pinch, plus my heels are ever so slightly hanging off the end :(

    Great sandals!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 June 2019
I am SO happy with my purchase! These are the most comfortable pair of sandals I've ever owned!Very soft and light, like walking on clouds. No redness or sore spots on my feet at all after wearing them for the first time!Even though the footbed is light grey coloured, it did not get stained or darker (and my feet do sweat during summer!)I am usually between sizes 4 and 4.5, after reading reviews I decided to go for 4.5, and do regret it a bit now. I feel they are true to size and you do not need to go 1/2 size up.Overall, they seem to be very good quality sandals and you will not regret buying them!

    Not good shoes
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 January 2021
I take a size 5 but i ordered a size 6 due to some of the reviews saying they can be tight fitting. The size 6 is tight on me and i dont have wide feet! Im not even convinced that these are actual Timberland shoes. Not happy with this.

    Narrow fitting

it's the first and last time I buy sandles on line,I am wondering if these sandles are actually genuine Timberland, I have some Timberland sandles that I bought years ago that are still going strong but totally different fitting to these,

Comfy but go a half size up
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 August 2019
Very soft and comfortable. The arch of the foot is also well supported. In hindsight I would go for a half size bigger as some of the other reviewers have said. My foot just fits but as they are so soft they do give a little bit. Overall very happy.

    They're perfect.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 July 2020
Love love love them. I've worn them every day on holiday, racking up 20,000 steps most days and my feet don't hurt at all. So comfy and they look lovely.

    Comfortable but runs slightly small
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 September 2020
The sandal definitely runs slightly small. Foot fits but you run the risk of toes overhanging while walking. If there is a half size option I would recommend it.
