The unit itself looked decent at first glance but had issues with the desk light which didn’t respond on the first day when tapped. On the second day, the light didn’t come on at all and was broken. Returning it to amazon for a refund.Edit - the sellers response has been brilliant since returning. He apologised for the experience and given the packaging was broken from inside, that would have damaged the product. He arranged to send another one, delivered almost immediately. The replacement item is working as expected and pleased with the performance so far… now happy :)

The brightest setting gives a gentle light, but won't flood your bedroom with light. It's also a cold white; I wish it were a little warmer in colour. Otherwise, a nice little thing!
