- What type of lithium battery do I need for this productNone. It has rechargeable interior "battery" you cannot access. You simply plug it into a switched on computer via the included USB cable or if you have an adapter for a USB cable (like the ones you may use to charge your mobile phone) you can use it to plug it into a mains socket. - How long does the battery last on a full charge, if just using it as a light?I believe 2 to 3 hours
