Outline Chair

The Oslo Sofa family unites geometric lines with a light form for the refined, comfortable lounging experience. The Oslo Sofa Series is crafted on the west coast of Norway and with its embracing and rounded softness, it stands as a natural extension to the Nordic touch and friendliness that characterises the designs of Muuto. Available in two and three-seater options as well as a lounge chair and pouf, the Oslo sofa family is upholstered in Danish Kvadrat textiles.

Jasper Morrison’s signature understated aesthetic meets robust, quality materials in the form of the chrome and dark oak Moca Chair for Vitra. Boasting a dark oak veneer seat and backrest, the chair is finished with a polished chrome frame. The chair is stackable for easy storage and even features a stacking protector to help safeguard the seat when stacked.

Having already produced a series of designs for Fritz Hansen that are similar in construction, Jacobsen had perfected the technique of pressure moulding layers of sliced veneer, a beech wood core covered by lacquered ash, to create this robust and versatile piece.The linear outline of the Grand Prix reflects motifs common within mid-century Atomic style furniture, with two rectangular curves set at an angle atop a thin bodied backrest. Moulded to form to the natural contours of the user, the winged curvature of the seat not only provides an elegant swooping line, but also ample comfort and support.Each of the wonderfully bowed legs are given rounded indentation along both sides with discreet rubber guards in place to prevent friction between the base the frame.Made from lacquered ash wood, this angular chair is available in a range or bright or muted tones that suit modern and vintage inspired interiors.

Ergonomically designed by Jasper Morrison, HAL provides freedom of movement in a number of seating positions making it ideal for a wide variety of spaces.The clean, curved profile of the seat is supported by a slender tubular steel frame, its polished chrome finish evoking classic mid-century furniture.The ideal stool for a breakfast or drinks bar, the HAL’s modernist style polished chrome base looks great with either minimal white or brick red.

Japanese designer Shin Azumi designed the Loku Chair (tubular base) making good use of the efficient methods of three dimensional (3D) veneer ply technology, which allows the seat to be moulded into a shape, making it both comfortable and supportive.

For its 80th anniversary Knoll pays tribute to design originality, creating a special edition of the Butterfly chair. The year Knoll was founded in 1938 was also the year the Butterfly Chair was designed, which Hans Knoll decided to include in the firm’s catalogue from 1947 to 1951, meeting with remarkable success. The Butterfly Chair's dynamic lines are made possible by the quality of the materials involved; the black coated steel structure and the thermoformed felt seat. This element, in particular, represents the true innovation of the project, because thanks to its workmanship it becomes a self-supporting structure with the dual role of seat and covering. The technological prowess and fine craftsmanship of Knoll ensure the comfort and elegance.
