  Lasted less than a year !...

  I am very disappointed in this product which I purchased in June 2018 for a holiday in July . Worn that summer and brought about again April /May 2019 . The toe post snapped in August . I contacted the seller who informs this is wear and tear. I have family and friends who have had Birkenstock sandals for many years . My Primark £10 copies listed 4 years !..... I will not be buying Birkenstocks from Amazon again. I gave the. 2 star rating purely because they are so comfortable. I will be taking advice from Birkenstock company directly.

  Sizing is way off, a whole size too big

  I was pleased to find these Birkenstocks reduced in price, I really like the style which are less clumpy looking than normal ones.But then I tried them on.....I normally wear a size 3 standard width in a Clarks shoe and looked online to double check the sizes and thought the Birkenstock size 2.5 / 35 /225mm should be perfect..but its not, in fact they actually fit my daughter who is a uk size 4. I've photographed them next to a pair of oak & hyde sandals size 36/ 3.5 for reference.For this style I would definitely recommend going down at least a full eu size to what you would normally wear.Unfortunately I can't go down a size as they dont make this style in a 34. Have looked at childrens ones but the styles & colour choices are very limited....so annoying!

  Always breaks on the toe + BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

  Second pair of Birkenstocks that I have bought in this style and while they are comfy, both pairs have not even lasted a year each, breaking and coming apart on the toe in the same place both times.They are expensive and should last much longer than this.Have tried to contact customer service about returning these for a refund and haven't heard back at all... has now been 2 weeks!!! Not a great product and not a great service......

  Poor customer service from supplier

  Sadly this product was not up to normal Birkenstock standard - bought at the end of last season; not really worn until last weekend - and broke on wearing. Supplier very unhelpful re return and replacement despite being within the 6 month window for this.

  Comfort and support - New update

  Comfortable fit, not had this type of Birkenstock before so allowed for different style. As expected newness of straps so allowing stiffness to ease off. Overall pleasantly pleased. As I suffer with flat feet I wanted something to support my arches and that’s why I have bought Birkenstock in the past . Don’t want shoes to rub and give blisters either. I am normally a 5 - 5 1/2 but I chose a size 5 U.K. size. Good fit. As I said , hopefully newness will wear off in straps and don’t rub and then possibly buy this style again.*UPDATE SEPT 2019* Just love these. Feel so comfortable and feels like slippers. Only rubbed a little on my right foot but that is down to me having a small bunion but didn’t really cause discomfort. Now looking for another pair, different colour.

  Great quality! caution ordering silver!

  Birkenstock have different sizing I’ve had a pair for years so I knew even though I’m a UK 6.5 I’m a Birkenstock 5.5. The Mayari design is great for concealing/supporting a bunion! I’ve given only 4 stars as they sent the wrong type of silver I ordered the snake skin effect silver? as it happens the standard Silver 07081 isn’t that bad but it’s not what I wanted and it’s a lot of money for something you don’t want! I could have returned it but for all the hassle I’ve decided to keep them. Just be careful if you’re ordering silver?! I notice they’ve put the code next to the Matt silver now! However, If you love Birkenstock you won’t be disappointed!

  Like strapping clouds to your feet all summer

  This is my second pair of Birkenstocks. I ordered a UK 8 originally as that’s the size I usually wear but when they arrived, they were too big (8UK is 42EU in Birkenstocks). I then bought the 7.5UK (41EU) and they were perfection. Don’t get me wrong, they did hurt a touch the first day I wore them - mainly on the sole of my feet while it was getting used to the built in foot support, but after that first time - you’re golden. Birkenstocks are a long term investment - with normal flip flops and sandals they always have those garbage flat soles that end up hurting and not supporting the arches of your feet. I love this design so much that I’ve even bought a black pair now.

  Comfortable and stylish - great purchase!

  I bought these quite last minute to wear on holiday and didn't get a chance to wear them in - I didn't need to! I wore them all say every day for almost 2 weeks and they were comfortable and looked good too. I went for Birkinstocks specifically because I have a bad back, and was told to always unbuckle every time you take them off, don't slip them off! They have moulded to my feet! Sizing is perfect, I measured my feet and used that to decide on a size and I'm glad I did, I'm normally a 7.5 or 8 but ordered a 7 and they're perfect. Highly reccommend!

  wrong color and wrong size received

  I have been buying Birkenstock shoes for years and I m very disappointed with this purchase. I received the wrong color and the sandals were narrow instead of regular meaning I can't wear them as they hurt my feet. While I wasn't too bother by the wrong color, I didn't realised straight away the problem with the size. Only when I went for a walk outside and then compare with my old pair when I came back. Because I wore them outside, I now can't send them back. £60 wasted :-(

  I love Birkenstocks!

  Loyal customer of Birkenstocks but reluctant to pay full RRP when I can buy with discounts, even if it means I'm wearing last season's style (like that ever bothered me!) So, bought my usual size ( a size smaller than my 'regular' size - birki's tend to be on the generous size and they do stretch a little with frequent wear) and I am totally delighted - black patent, shiny and new, and so very comfortable - like heaven for my feet!
