  I absolutely love these! At first when they arrived I was a little bit disappointed as they were so light I wondered if I’d been ripped off, but then I put them on and I have barely taken them off since. They’re so light and easy to wear, I wear them as slippers around the house as they are so comfy, and I wear them everywhere else as well. They are also really easy to clean, I just run them under the shower head for a quick wash every now and then. I love how they look, they’re really stylish and go with any casual outfit as well as a pretty summer dress. While it’s warm these are my go-to sandals every single day, I can’t recommend them enough!Ps. Definitely size down when purchasing - I’m a 5.5 in normal shoes so went for a 4.5 and they’re great.*update* I wore these pretty much every day all summer. I’m wearing them again now it’s getting warmer and they still look as good as new after constant use a year on. Definitely worth buying! I will wear these until they fall apart then I’ll buy another pair straight away!

  I am thrilled with this version of my beloved Birkenstocks - I have had the original Gizeh (with cork soles) in a variety of colours over the years but these lighter, softer, 'rubbery' ones are my favourites. Great price, very light and comfortable, full arch and toe support as always but smarter and less likely to get 'tatty' looking as there is no cork. Highly recommended!

  Comfortable versatile sandals

  I’ve been wearing Berks for what seems like centuries now. I’ve converted both my dad, Mum and now husband. All of whom are on their umpteenth pairs.Extremely comfortable, my advice would be to get a size slightly bigger than your regular shoe size. An invaluable piece of advice I got from the first day I brought my first pair, was to buy the next size up. This would ensure your foots not hanging over the back/edge and more importantly, minimum pressure is applied in between the toes by the shoe post.These are an Old trustee like a second set of feet!!

  Hi. Being all plastic makes them great for the beach, but with the shape of the sole, the shoe makes a sound best described as loud flatulence if my feet get at all wet or sweaty. This is every second or third step, and highly embarrasses my children (although I find it quite funny and enjoy embarrassing them). I went out and bought the same ones with the normal cork sole just after this, as what my kids describe as my 'farty shoes' would not work well in public places.

  Over the past 20 years of buying and loving Birkenstock’s of all different colours and styles, these are the best for me, no toe marks in the footbed and more suitable for our ever changing weather and easy to clean. Highly recommend

  Took me through Africa trip last summer

  I bought these to wear on my African trip last summer. They are extremely light weight, plastic, but so comfortable and fit my foot like a glove. I ended up wearing them all the time, even on long treks and they held up so well. Also, because they are plastic you just need to rinse them if they get dirty and they look like new. I must admit at first I was not sure, as I like leather sandals, but I really was pleasantly surprised. I only took hand luggage with me for my long trip as I didn't want to have any hold luggage, and because these are so light it really helped with my packing.

  Sculptured footbed perfectly align feet and spine

  This style is one of my favourite. The combination of toe post and across arch buckled strap keep your foot perfectly in place when you walk. The sculptured foot bed correctly angles the foot eliminating back issues and allowing the wearer to remain comfortably on their feet many hours longer than would be the case with the great majority of sandals. The sole could however be more hardwearing. This seems to flatten out on the heel after a certain amountof wear. If you are not going to live in your Birkenstocks all year round, they will probably hold up well for you.

  I have never quite fitted or liked the leather Birkenstocks, but when I tried these, they were a dream - like walking on a marshmallow- so light, yet also very good on stones and rough ground. The seem very robust. And you can wash them when they get grubby and they look like new- so no worries about buying a white pair. Plus they are exceptional value. I have barely taken them off since I got them a week ago. Cant be more enthusiastic!Am wondering if I should get another colour - but you can only wear one pair at a time and white goes with anything.

  UK 7 standard width.Too small across left ball otherwise a good fit & length. Very light, lovely colour. Feel comfortable & secure for a style I avoid - between toes.These were the best price for colour I chose.For some reason they seem fake. The weight? The buckles being undone & upside down? I have no idea, but it's an impression I feel.Must return as they are not 100% good fit & may rub. Sad.

  Brilliant lightweight and comfortable summer sandals

  Best purchase for summer! I've worn these everyday since the day I bought them. As they are made of Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) (it's an extremely elastic material that can be sintered to form a porous material similar to rubber) they are really light, soft, yet hard wearing footwear. Just like all Birkenstock sandals they are long lasting and super comfortable with their support and quality manufacturing. They are perfect for day-to-day to wear in the garden, the city, the beach and in fact I'd wear them ANY where, and i have! They look fab with jeans, skirts, shorts, holiday sarongs, etc. Even though there is no felt where the toes are, it only took a solid day of wearing them that my feet became adjusted to these sandals, just like any pair of shoes and then my feet were fine. I cant recommend these enough!
